I've Seen the Future and it Works

Paul Levitz's current Legion of Super-Heroes story is moving very slowly for modern sensibilities. We have got a visually-striking new Villainaire in the sumo- like form of Sun Killer- and a deranged and dangerous new take on Saturn Queen. But the others (a Sklarian, a Coluan, a giant robot and Adam Orion) are less than impressive.

If I ran the Legion, however, I would make sure there were a horde of heroes and I've chosen my roster from all the versions, reboots and Threeboots we've seen in the last thirty years. My LSH run would feature new Legionnaires, new costumes and a new leader-possibly Duo Damsel, maybe Phantom Girl; a same- sex Legion wedding; 31st- century versions of  Etrigan the Demon and the Bat-Computer; two Legion traitors and the death of a founder member. Oh, and Shanghalla has some different monuments than in the mainstream DCU.
Old "Iron Butt" Imra will meet her demise at the hands of the leader of the new Fatal Five.
Luornu, Legion leader and her deputy Tinya: no one deserves those roles more.
Lyle Norg is getting married and it's not to Myla...

 Is Kryptonia Supergirl...or not?
This Star Boy is a descendant of Ted and Jack Knight.
Ayla as Gossamer. Dream Girl had a premonition about marriage and Brainy.

Jeckie is in exile; Shady is as ageless as the Shade.
Condo's found a husband. Wolf has robophobia.
Tyroc and Dawnstar are on detached duty
 Hello! Yes! Quislet!!
Comet Queen and Reflecto (Stig Ah of Rimbor)
Legion medic Kent Shakespeare and Computa
XS (now known as Allegra) and Gates
Thunder and Gazelle from Triton (controls own metabolism)
Next, some Legionnaires who haven't joined in mainstream continuity (yet) but who would appear in my LSH:
Night Girl and Rainbow Girl (wields the Oan emotional spectrum)
Variable Lad, Power Boy (controls own density) and Sizzle (energy transformer)

Two more former Subs: Porcupine Pete and Infectious Lass
The long-awaited Quantum Queen; Anti-Lad from the 75th Century; and Beast Boy
I'd like to see Adult Legionnaire Quantum Queen to have Kid Quantum's stasis-field power. Two further new additions were created by "Mighty Godking", whose blog inspired and informed this one- the postcognitive Detective Girl and the female super-ape, Boziah:
That's a whopping 49 members! Now, that's a Legion! I did mention the memorial asteroid Shanghalla and here are the Legionnaires who died in action (or Adventure):
Ferro Lad, Element Lad, Inferno, Mon-El, Invisible Kid II, and Catspaw
(I'm really sorry to part with the latter pair!)
Here are Saturn Girl's killers- Kinetix and the Fatal Four: Caress, Flare, Persuader and Validus
By the way, Kinetix isn't one of the two Legion traitors I referred to earlier! Here's Imra's possible replacement; an arch-enemy for Brainy; and the galaxy's criminal mastermind.
Mentalla; the alchemist Nemesis Kid; and Starfinger
Finally, here is the father of one Legion traitress and two classic Silver Age villains who would feature prominently in my run:

Infinite Man; Computo the Conqueror and Starro, the, er, Conqueror.
You'd also see Brainy versus a whole planet; Timber Wolf quitting; Lightning Lad de-aged; Janice Warren funding the LSH; the Controller Virus; Legion try-outs ( like Mesmer Lad); Terror on Taboo Island; and the Son of Space Cabby.
P.S. The Fiftieth Legionnaire is Fortress Lad, the team-mate you live inside!
